Krista Howell

Professional Summary

Krista Meek Howell started her career in public school education as a high school computer programming teacher before coming to Baylor in 1989. She worked as an assistant director in Campus Living and Learning and an academic advisor before moving over to the Business School in 2000 to teach as a lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics. She was hired as the first assistant dean for Hankamer in 2001, overseeing the Undergraduate Programs Office and making student academic decisions. Dean Howell developed the BUS 1101, Business New Student Experience, course in 2013 and still teaches it today.
