Trey Hagins

Professional Summary
Trey Hagins was appointed managing director of development for the Hankamer School of Business in 2021. He works with the Business School's major and principal gift alumni, parents, companies, foundations and friends to increase support for student scholarships, faculty positions and program funds. He also helps create endowment support in priority areas of growth, such as support for AI, Career Services, and the School's Christian Leadership and Ethics programs. Trey oversaw the Business School’s fundraising achievement of $149 million during the Give Light campaign, which supported Baylor University's Illuminate strategic plan.
Trey previously served as director of development for Baylor’s West Coast region, the Division of Student Life and University Libraries. Before coming to Baylor in 2009, Trey worked as Microsoft brand manager at Dell Technologies in Round Rock, Texas. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Liz Cox Hagins, BSE '00, MA '25, who serves as learning coach (multi-tiered system of support) at Midway High School. They live in McGregor, Texas, and have two children.
