Women in Business at Baylor University
Founded in 2006, Women in Business at Baylor University is dedicated to developing a strong network of Christian women to provide opportunities for personal growth and business relationship development by integrating professional insight, integrity and leadership.
Melanie Smith, along with Blaine McCormick and a core of dedicated students, were the driving force behind the creation and development of the organization. Two years later, Women in Business at Baylor University became an official student organization and held its Charter Ceremony on April 24, 2008. Membership has steadily grown and now averages over 200 members each year.
